Portugal news – The EuroMillions prize of 200 million euros increases transfers to Portugal by 74%.

Portugal’s surplus in international transfers soared by 74% in June 2024 compared to the same month the previous year, to reach 670 million euros, due to the receipt of the largest ever EuroMillions prize in Portugal, according to information released by the Bank of Portugal, BdP.

The EuroMillions jackpot is the highest prize ever won in Portugal: “When you play, you talk about dreams and the dream came true”, explains Nuno Pires, representative of Santa Casa games.
