Portuguese tech company Singularity Digital Enterprise ranks 1st in the Financial Times 1000 ranking in 2023
Portugal tech news – French group Devoteam buys Portuguese tech company Singularity Digital Enterprise that ranks 1st in the Financial Times 1000 ranking in 2023.
Financial Times has ranked Portuguese tech company Singularity Digital Enterprise as No. 1 IT & Software company in Portugal in its FT1000 ranking, that includes Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies in 2023. Singularity Digital Enterprise recently announced an investment of EUR 1 million in the creation of the first OpenAI skills center in Portugal.
French tech company Devoteam, that is listed on Euronext, employs around 10,000 people of whom 1,300 are in Portugal. With the acquisition of Portuguese company Singularity Digital Enterprise, Devoteam will strengthen its presence in the Portuguese tech sector where the French group registered a turnover of EUR 77 million in 2022.
The acquisition of Portuguese company Singularity Digital Enterprise should make it possible for Devoteam to reach a turnover of EUR 100 million in 2023, since the acquisition includes a portfolio of more than 200 projects in the largest Portuguese companies as well as a partnership with Microsoft.
Devoteam’s G Cloud cluster operates Google Cloud specializations in 18 countries with a portfolio of over 2,300 clients. With the acquisition Portuguese tech company Singularity Digital Enterprise, French group Devoteam will be able to spearhead Generative AI advances with a data-driven team in Portugal.
