Portugal Business News – Portuguese American green hydrogen startup 1s1 Energy raises 1.3 million euros seed investment to invest in Portugal, where the startup will test its innovative technology for affordable green hydrogen production.
The seed investment raised by green hydrogen startup 1s1 Energy was led by Faber Ventures and Asiri LLC with the participation of Rumbo Ventures, City Light and Gibson Lane GmbH.
The energy tech startup expects revenues of 2.1 million euros through innovative technology developed with materials based on the chemical element boron in electrochemical cells, which allows for increased efficiency and sustainability, in addition to reducing the cost of water electrolysis systems.
Green hydrogen startup 1s1 Energy, that operates in the renewable energy semiconductor manufacturing sector, also has a project in Brazil valued at USD 2.3 million, in collaboration with the State Electric Power Generation Company (CEEE G) and the National Steel Company (CSN).
Portuguese American startup 1s1 Energy, that has offices in San Francisco Bay Area, Lisbon and São Paulo, is part of the CHILI (Climate and Hydrogen Innovation and Learning Incubator) accelerator program in Texas.
