Portugal travel & tourism news – Portugal is investing EUR 7 million in a new private jet terminal in Lisbon’s wealthy Cascais region, that is renowned for its upscale seafront property just outside the capital.


Portugal will centralize all private aircraft to its new executive terminal in the Cascais airport that will soon be built together with a new control tower and fire station.


Portugal’s new VIP terminal will centralize executive aviation and is expected to be operational by the end of 2024. The Government will also built a road and a bus corridor that will connect the new Cascais executive terminal to Lisbon.


Cascais is a well-known luxury destination that lies along the Portuguese Riviera and is set to become Lisbon’s business gateway.


Portugal’s new executive aviation terminal in Cascais, that will be located just a 25-minute drive to Lisbon along the scenic coastline, will attract the VIP tourism segment to Lisbon.
