Portugal’s total net debt vis-à-vis the rest of the world decreased from 85.4% of GDP in June 2023 to 82.7% of GDP in September 2023.
The latest data on the Portuguese economy released by Portugal’s Central Bank shows that the total financial liabilities of the Portuguese economy vis-à-vis the rest of the world decreased from 232.6% of GDP in June 2023 to 226.1% of GDP in September 2023.
Moreover, Portugal’s financial liabilities excluding shares and other equity vis-à-vis the rest of the world decreased from 158.7% of GDP in June 2023 to 153.8% of GDP in September 2023.
Portugal’s net debt excluding shares and other equity vis-à-vis the rest of the world decreased from 59.6% of GDP in June 2023 to 56.7% of GDP in September 2023.
Portugal’s Financial Liabilities of Public Administrations decreased from 115.4% of GDP in June 2023 to 111.7% of GDP in September 2023, that is a decrease of 3.7 pp.
