Portugal news - Portuguese-American tech startup Opnova AI just raised 3.75 million dollars in a pre-seed round co-led by Portuguese fund Faber, ScaleX Ventures, Preface Ventures, Incubate Fund and DNX Ventures. The startup, that is headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, has its Tech Hub in Portugal.
Opnova AI is the third startup founded by Portuguese CTO José Luís Pereira, which he created with co-founders Pedro Saleiro (former Feedzai), Tiago Melo, and Sinan Eren, the CEO.
The tech startup was created with the aim of helping companies reduce repetitive IT processes that lead to lost productivity hours. The innovative solutions provided by Opnova AI include payroll software to add new employees and configure them, as well as software that opens hotel doors and configures entry cards.
The company’s main market is the US as the target customers of Opnova AI are companies with more than 5,000 employees, since organizations of that size can take greater advantage of the solutions proposed by the startup for reducing repetitive IT functions.
