Portugal news - Portuguese companies set the stage for the Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris on March 5th.
The Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris, that was held at the Cour Carrée du Louvre, was a fashion extravaganza displaying the Women's Fall-Winter 2024 Collection by Nicolas Ghesquière.
The Cour Carrée du Louvre in Paris was transformed into a luminous glasshouse imbued with the pulsating energy of sculptural chandeliers, and the futuristic scenography was designed by renowned artist Philippe Parreno and production designer James Chinlund.
Portuguese companies Flysteel and Steelplan designed the roof that hosted the presentation event of the Fall-Winter 2024 Women's Collection in the iconic square at the Louvre Museum in Paris. The imposing structure, that was designed entirely in steel to be easily removable, occupied an area of almost 6,000 m2 and served as the stage for the Louis Vuitton fashion show. With a total height of 13 meters and a translucent roof, the space recreated the cozy and luxurious atmosphere of the classic winter gardens and was large enough to accommodate 3,000 guests.
Portuguese engineering, that is well positioned for producing stages for major international events, has led to the creation of a spectacular stage for the Louis Vuitton fashion show. The Portuguese companies created a designer setting that was one of the largest structures ever erected at the Cour Carrée du Louvre and that featured a chandelier with a diameter of 8 meters that was specially designed to be the event’s central piece.
