Portugal news – Vehicle sales by Stellantis grow 29.4% in Portugal, that is the highest growth rate in the EU.

 

Stellantis vehicle sales in Portugal have registered remarkable growth and Portugal stands out compared to other EU countries. In Portugal, Stellantis is a market leader with a market share of over 30%, while 5 of its models are among the 10 best-selling vehicles, with the Peugeot 2008 that tops the list.

 

For the Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) market, Stellantis registered a steady increase in sales of +7% in February compared to the previous year, registering a global market share of 14.7% for both passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles, with a significant growth in France and Portugal.

1 – Portugal

 

Portugal ranks highest growth market for vehicle sales in the EU for Stellantis with +29.4%.

 

 

2 – France

 

France ranks second highest growth market for vehicle sales in the EU for Stellantis with +18.5%. In France, taking advantage of the success of the national social leasing campaign, Stellantis is a market leader and grows 5 points above the market trend.

 

 

3 – Italy


Italy ranks third highest growth market for vehicle sales of both passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles in the EU for Stellantis with +15.6%. Stellantis also confirms its market-leading position with 6 of its models among the top ten, including the timeless Fiat Panda, which ranks first.

 

 

4 – Germany


Germany ranks fourth highest growth market for vehicle sales in the EU for Stellantis with +13.6%.

 

 

5 – Spain


Spain ranks fifth highest growth market for vehicle sales in the EU for Stellantis with +9.9%.

 

 

Stellantis vehicle sales have been increasing in 2024 according to the ranking of sales for the Total European market (EU29), with a market share growth of 20.3% in February.
