Portugal news - The inaugural flight of the first 100% electric aircraft certified in the EU will take off today in Portugal, in what is deemed to be a historic event for aviation in the EU.

It is the only fully electric aircraft in the world certified by EASA – European Union Aviation Safety Agency, that represents a significant milestone towards sustainable aviation with a lower environmental impact.
