Portugal news – Here are the top law firms in Portugal according to the 2025 rankings in the Annual report on the Portuguese investment market for the year 2024:
Law firms in Portugal managed Mergers and Acquisitions amounting to EUR 12.6 billion for the year 2024. While Portugal’s Real Estate sector was the most active in 2024, foreign acquisitions in the Technology and Internet sector increased by 27% and there was a 55% growth in Venture Capital raised, according to TTR Data.
The investment of the year 2024 in Portugal was the acquisition of a majority stake in FairJourney Biologics by Partners Group, with an investment value of approximately EUR 900 million. While the investment was advised by financial advisers JP Morgan, it was also advised by legal advisers Cuatrecasas Portugal and Deloitte Legal Portugal, while PwC Portugal carried out the Due Diligence.
