The Web Summit 2023, that will be held in Lisbon, Portugal on November 13-16, 2023, is Europe's largest tech event. The Web Summit brings together Fortune 500 companies, promising startups, world-class speakers, and investors for a 4-day conference that is attended by over 70,000 people.

1 - Brad Smith - Microsoft president


Brad Smith leads a team of more than 1,900 businesses located in 54 countries. On January 23, 2023, Microsoft announced a new multi-billion-dollar investment deal with ChatGPT. The revenue of Microsoft is estimated at US$ 211.9 billion in 2023.

2 - Nick Clegg – Meta president of global affairs


Nick Clegg joined Microsoft in 2018 after serving as deputy prime minister in the UK’s first coalition government since WWII, from 2010 to 2015. Meta has acquired multiple companies. The revenue of Meta is estimated at US$ 116.61 billion in 2022.

3 – Ole Obermann - TikTok Global Head of Music


Ole Obermann is the global head of music at ByteDance, where he oversees music business development and strategy, including negotiating music rights for TikTok. Cloudflare ranked TikTok the most popular website of 2021, surpassing Google. According to estimates from Insider Intelligence, TikTok is projected to generate $ 14.15 billion in revenue in 2023, that is a huge rise compared to $9.89 billion in 2022.

4 – Will Gaybrick - Stripe President for Product and Business


Will Gaybrick joined Stripe in 2015 as its CFO. Stripe is an Irish American multinational financial services and Software as a Service (SaaS) company with headquarters in California and in Dublin. Stripe primarily offers payment-processing software for e-commerce websites and mobile apps. The revenue of Stripe is estimated at US$ 12 billion in 2021.

5 – Garry Tan - Y Combinator CEO


Garry Tan is the CEO of Y Combinator (YC). Garry built key parts of the YC founder’s experience, including Bookface and the Demo Day website. Garry is also a co-founder of Initialized Capital. Y Combinator is a US tech startup accelerator that has launched more than 4,000 companies, including Airbnb, Coinbase, Cruise, Dropbox, Reddit, Stripe, and Twitch. The combined valuation of the top YC companies was more than $ 600 billion by January 2023. Y Combinator's estimated annual revenue is currently $ 75 M per year.

6 - Victor Riparbelli - Synthesia CEO


Victor Riparbelli is the co-founder of Synthesia, a synthetic media generation platform used to create AI generated video content, that is based in London. As part of a Series C funding round in June 2023, Synthesia raised an additional $ 90 million from investors such as US fund Accel and Nvidia. The total valuation of Synthesia is estimated at $ 1 billion, thus making it to Unicorn status. Synthesia's estimated annual revenue is currently $ 24.8 M.

7 - Dario Amodei - Anthropic CEO

Dario was VP of Research at Open AI, leading the efforts to build GPT-2 and GPT-3. The estimated annual revenue Anthropic is $ 15.4 M.

8 - Maëlle Gavet – Techstars CEO


Maëlle Gavet was named as one of Fortune's 40 Under 40 and as one of the Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company in 2012. She is also a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader alum. Techstars, that is located in Colorado, is a global investment business that provides access to capital, one-on-one mentorship, and customized programming for early-stage entrepreneurs. As of May 2022, Techstars has accepted over 2,900 companies into its accelerator programs with a combined market capitalization of 71 billion USD. Techstars peak revenue was $ 11.0 M in 2022.

9 - Vanessa Stock - Pitch co-founder
