Amazon Web Services (AWS) is launching its 2023 edition of Cloud Experience projects during a conference to be held on October 10th, 2023, in Lisbon, Portugal.


The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Experience event will include business leaders and tech experts from leading companies including Deloitte, OutSystems, Devoteam, magic beans and Credibom.


The Amazon Web Services 2023 event in Portugal will provide information on how to transition to the cloud in an agile, secure, and scalable way that will boost innovation and efficiency, while reducing costs. The Amazon Web Services event will include workshops to provide a hands-on approach to transition to the cloud, while the focus will be on Generative AI, Data Analytics, and Microservices Architectures.



What are is the AWS technology demonstrated in Portugal in 2023?


Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides support for digital transformation on the Iberian Peninsula. In Portugal, customers will be able to run latency-sensitive workloads, simplify hybrid migrations to the cloud and meet data residency requirements. Amazon Web Services (AWS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Portugal to accelerate cloud adoption in line with the national Digital Transition strategy through the “Mais Digital” initiative.


The Amazon Web Services 2023 event in Portugal will allow users to interact with the AWS technology platforms, namely the “Formula 1 simulator” that uses the High Performance Computing (HPC) platform to redesign cars for racing, and the “Serverslesspresso” interactive application that allows users to order a coffee using a cell phone while viewing how the entire process unfolds based on AWS technology.


AWS technology provides applications for a number of sectors including advertising, financial services, gaming technology, education, automotive, energy, health, as well as Government.


Amazon Web Services just launched the AWS re/Start program in Portugal for Cloud job training that provides the opportunity for jobseekers to upskill. The program, that is a collaboration with Code Academy in Lisbon, is offered at no cost to graduates and it is not necessary to have prior experience in technology to apply. AWS re/Start is part of Amazon's commitment to help 29 million people worldwide develop their technology skills through free cloud computing training by 2025.
