Top 10 hottest startups in Lisbon in 2024:

1 – Rauva
Fintech Rauva ranks among the Top 10 hottest startups in 2024 according to Wired. Portuguese Fintech Rauva acquired Portuguese bank Banco Empresas Montepio for around € 30 million and has been named one of Portugal’s Top Emerging Fintech.  Â

2 – Neuraspace
The CEO of Neuraspace, Chiara Manfletti, is also the founder of the Portuguese Space Agency. Since its founding in 2020, the space startup has raised a total of 25.3 million euros.

3 – Bhout
Bhout is the winner of the KPMG Tech Innovator Award 2024 in Portugal and was also recognized as one of the best inventions of 2023 by TIME magazine. In 2023, Bhout raised ten million euros in a seed round.

4 – MyCareforce
The healthtech platform matches nurses with hospitals and clinics on shifts that suit them. MyCareforce recently raised a two million euro round led by Portugal Gateway, Shilling and Demium Capital, and also obtained funding through M4 Ventures that is an early stage VC based in Lisbon.

Portuguese startup Oscar allows you to book more than 150 home services at a fixed rate, with these services arriving within half an hour. In May 2024, Oscar raised 6 million euros and has registered a 40% growth between quarters.

Portuguese medtech startup Glooma developed a glove with smart sensors for women to perform self-examinations to prevent breast cancer.

Portuguese startup SheerMe developed a platform to book beauty services. SheerMe obtained funding through M4 Ventures that is an early-stage VC based in Lisbon.

Portuguese startup Sqill automates social media management through an AI video editor. Founded in 2021, Squill has closed a round of seed investment worth 2 million euros, led by GED Ventures in July 2024.

Portuguese startup Ubbu is an online learning platform focused on coding skills and digital topics for children between the ages of 6 and 12.

Portuguese fintech Paynest is part of the Visa Innovation Program Europe 2024. The platform, that helps companies manage their employees’, has raised three million euros since its launch including funding through M4 Ventures that is an early-stage VC based in Lisbon.
