Portugal news - Who are the Top 5 Best Emerging Young Architects in Portugal? According to the European Centre, 5 Portuguese architects are among the best architects in Europe in the under 40 category. The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design have just announced the winners of the “Europe 40under40” Award for Europe.
Here are the Top 5 Portuguese Architects who count among the world's most promising figures in the fields of architecture and design for their out-of-the-box projects:
No 1 – Diogo Brito from the OODA Arquitectura studio.
No 2 - Julião Pinto Leite from the OODA Arquitectura studio.
No 3 - Francisco Lencastre from the OODA Arquitectura studio.
No 4 - Pedro Pita from the studio Pablo Pita Arquitectos.
No 5 - Pablo Rebelo from the studio Pablo Pita Arquitectos.
Their projects will be part of an exhibition entitled “40 young European architects with new visions” that will take place in December at the European Centre in Athens.
Portuguese architecture firm OODA has projects globally, and their most recent accomplishment was winning the project to develop the new headquarters for Klan TV in Tirana, Albania.
Pablo Pita Arquitectos have signed a number of residential projects, mostly in Porto. Pedro Pita and Pablo Rebelo have co-signed the project for the stairs of Monte dos Judeus, in Porto.
